I love little kids. They’re one of the main reasons why I want to be a teacher (but I’m going to be a high school teacher). Usually I get along with them, but there’s this ONE little girl at my church named Elizabeth who seriously did NOT like me. She didn’t like me for so long that I lost count of how many weeks I would ask her, “Elizabeth, why don’t you like me?” She would answer my question with a staredown similar to this:

Hers was more intense though, and I would cry in the inside.

But YESTERDAY, I saw her come into the sanctuary with her mom, and I said, “Elizabeth!”

She came over onto the stage holding her mom’s hand. I met her halfway on the stairs of the stage, and she HUGGED ME! YES! She finally likes me :)
