So last night, Dennis and I had one of the longest conversations in the longest time. After the conversation he said, “Wow. I actually heard you talk for the longest time ever.” I was like, Really?
Today at Dennis’ house, I was talking to Ryan for a bit, and he said, “You’re one of the hardest people to read.”
And Dennis said, “See, I told you she doesn’t talk!”
I said, “I do talk. But I’m a listener. I just want to hear what you have to say.”
Which is true. I honestly do talk a lot to others in order to know the other person. But I tend to ask questions though. Like, What do you like to do for fun? What school do you go to? How many siblings do you have? But I admit, that at times it’s hard to talk to people I don’t really know. But I still try my best. But if people have stuff they want to share or get off their chest, I gladly shut my mouth, and just listen to what they have to say. It’s just another way for me to get to know that person and what their life is like. It’s the way God has created me to be :)
